Children and Youth Gather for Mustard Seed Club at St. Demetrius Parish

St. Demetrius Parish hosted a joyful Mustard Seed Club gathering for children and youth on April 18, bringing together 17 participants for a day centered on faith, fellowship, and Easter celebration.

The gathering began with the Divine Liturgy, followed by a catechetical session that helped the children reflect more deeply on the meaning of Christ’s Resurrection and the importance of faith in everyday life. Afterward, everyone shared breakfast together in the parish dining hall.

The day continued with a variety of activities for the children and youth, including team games and the viewing of Light of the World, a film portraying the life, Passion, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Participants also enjoyed lunch together before concluding the event with a festive Easter egg hunt.

The day was filled with joy, friendship, prayer, and meaningful time together as a parish family. Special thanks to all who helped organize and support this memorable gathering for our young parishioners.
