The Parish of St. Demetrius invites everyone to celebrate the Parish Feast on Sunday, October 26th, at 10 a.m. There will be a Divine Liturgy followed by a festive lunch. We will have pie as the dessert and a pie auction. Anyone interested in pie donation could bring two pies. Thanks!
The Ninth Annual Oliver George Memorial Coats for Kids, sponsored by the KofC Council 6310 and the St. Bernard’s Catholic Daughters, will have Children’s coats available on September 14 and into the winter months. Anyone can request a child's coat. We need to know the size and whether it is for a boy or a girl.
MARRIAGE BANNS: As required by §784 CCEO and §105 of the Particular Law of UCC and the norms of the Church, we hereby publish the marriage banns of the following couple: Michael Duppong wishes to contract Holy Matrimony with Colleen Rodakowski. The date of Marriage is October 25, 2025. Anyone who knows of any canonical impediment to the proposed marriage of the couple listed above is requested to inform the parish office.
Exciting Event: Ukrainian pop artist Kozak Siromaha will perform live in Belfield! The concert will occur at the Belfield Theatre on December 3rd at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $30 at the door.
This is an excellent opportunity for everyone interested in Ukrainian culture to experience a unique performance. Kozak Siromaha performs as a medieval Ukrainian warrior and a Cossack, bringing a captivating blend of music and heritage.
