This summer on August 11-15 our parish family gathered the children and young people for several unforgettable days of faith, friendship, and discovery. The catechetical camp became a true celebration of God’s love, where prayer and learning were combined with play and laughter.
Every day began with the Divine Liturgy and common prayer. Through engaging lessons and creative activities, the participants learned more about the Sacraments of the Church and how God’s grace is present in their daily lives.
But the camp was not only about study. The young people enjoyed sports, music, dances, team games, and outdoor adventures that filled their hearts with joy. One of the favorite moments was a group trip into nature, where they could marvel at the beauty of creation and spend time together as friends.
The entire parish shared in the spirit of the camp through the generous help of volunteers, parents, and parishioners. This experience reminded us all that growing in faith can be both inspiring and joyful. May these young hearts carry the light of Christ into their homes, schools, and communities!
