Lifting High the Cross: A Joyful Start to Our Catechism Year!

On Sunday, September 14, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, our parish joyfully began a new catechism year! After the Divine Liturgy, students and teachers gathered to receive a special blessing as they embark on another year of learning and growing in their knowledge of our Savior.

This special day reminds us that the Cross is not only a symbol of Christ’s sacrifice but also a sign of victory and new life. What better day to begin our catechetical journey than on this feast, when we are invited to lift high the Cross in our own lives and follow Christ more closely.

We thank our dedicated teachers for their commitment to forming our children in the faith, and we pray for our students, that this year will be filled with joy, curiosity, and deep encounters with God.
